This is a great semi-interactive website on worms including
anatomy, physiology, and fun facts. The diagrams are good and the illustrations
cute. Highly recommended!

This resource is vast and will find you what you need in
your area.

This has a good round up of the major invertebrate phyla.
National Zoo: Invertebrate Page http://nationalzoo.si.edu/Animals/Invertebrates/
I love the National Zoo! They have always had an invertebrate house, and this page is a great resource. If you are doing squid dissections, this is a good background source, esp the cephalopod page.
Biology 4Kids: Invertebrates http://www.biology4kids.com/files/invert_main.html
This is another good site as a back up. It has other biology related pages if you need them.
Using Live Insects in Elementary Classrooms http://insected.arizona.edu/lessons.htm
I recently stumbled on this one. It has activities for K-3, which is unusual and great to see! The lesson plans are very good, and include literacy suggestions. Well worth browsing and looking at some of the other related pages.
Silk: Vegan Society http://www.vegansociety.com/html/animals/exploitation/silk_worm.php
Ok, so they donÕt like to use whole thread. The information
is good, and they present an excellent ethical discussion point and an
alternative to killing worms.
Giant Squid Interactive Website http://seawifs.gsfc.nasa.gov/squid.html
From the National Museum of Natural History – squid
lovers will love this!
Introduction to the Arthropoda: The real rulers of the
Earth!
http://www.ucmp.berkeley.edu/arthropoda/arthropoda.html
This would be a good upper elementary research site for a motivated student.
The Myriad Worlds of Invertebrates http://www.earthlife.net/inverts/
This might be the most complete fact site on invertebrates you will find. A great resource for teachers or students – right through high school!
