Invertebrates
Are you a fourth through sixth grade teacher who has invertebrates on your list of science 'to dos'? If yes, this page will get you started.
Invertebrates are the largest group of multicellular animals by number and species. They are pollinators, CO2 consumers, reef builders, pests, and food for many species. Yet, the invertebrates are often overlooked or avoided by teachers for a variety of reasons. Probably the hardest thing about invertebrates is that they are not huggable! Most of them are squishy and the rest have tough exoskeletons. Take some time to explore these resources before making up your mind!
