New England Aquarium - Boston, MA. http://www.neaq.org/ The NEAq is the regions foremost teahing aquarium. There are teacher resources available to check out at low cost. Admission is expensive, but worth the price.
Montshire Museum of Science- Norwich, Vermont http://www.montshire.org/ This is a delightful and highly interactive children's science museum. Good for kids through fifth grade. Moderate Admission fee. Great for families or school groups.
Science Center of New Hampshire - Holderness, NH http://www.nhnature.org/ The Science Center has evolved into a terrific natural science interpretive center for all ages. Part 'zoo of New England creatures' and part learning center, it is a great family or school destination. Moderate admission fee.
Boston Museum of Science - Boston, MA http://www.mos.org/ The oldest and most comprehensive sciece museum in New England is worth many return visits. Most school visits oly scratch the surface of the museum, so a family trip is warrranted. Best for Grades 2 through adult. Admission and parking are expensive.
Christa McAuliffe Planetarium - Concord, NH http: //www.starhop.com/ This planetarium is a great teacher resource and good family destination for upper elementary children. Moderate fee for shows.
