Design: Warm-up Problem Using LEGOs or other stuff…

Supplies:

Basic design kit using LEGO bricks  or

Six sheets copy paper + 50 cm transparent tape + (2) paperclips  or

K’NEX assortment of pieces

Meter stick or tape

Goal:

Build the tallest structure you can using the parts you have been given. You may not use your hands to support any part of your structure.

Time limit: 10 minutes

Often students want another try. If you have the time, go for it! Re-design and improvement are part of the process.
